The objective of this course is to supervise and direct two BS students on their seminars, and to have regular weekly meetings to monitoring the progress and to write up the manuscript and to prepare the oral presentation. The topic of the seminar is "A Review of Statistical Methods for Multiple Comparisons". The topic of the second student is "Impact of Global Warming on the Incidence of Civil Conflict in Africa. Both are very important research topics.Multiple comparisons is extremely important in the genomic era for selection of genes. Global warming will decreases food production and endanger the food security in africa and hence will incrrease the occurrence of civil conflict.
